  Elmer Shirk 
   
  TREMONT Elmer Shirk, 95, of the Tremont Health & Rehabilitation Center, and 
  formerly of Fredericksburg, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2011, at the 
  home. He was the husband of the late Catherine A. Shirk. Born in Swatara Twp., 
  Lebanon Co., on October 7, 1915, he was the son of the late David and Emma 
  Shirk. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He is survived by his stepson, 
  Thomas E., husband of Catherine Lynch of Las Vegas, Nev.; two grandchildren; 
  and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 
  27, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 
  and Camp Meeting Road, Jonestown. Viewing will be held at 11 a.m. until the 
  time of the service.
