  Stephen F. Shirk 
   
  LEBANON Stephen F. Shirk, 74, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2011, at his 
  residence. He was the husband of the late Carol A. (Novak) Shirk. Stephen was 
  born in Lebanon, on October 26, 1936, a son of the late Casper and Bertha 
  (Martalus) Shirk. He had worked many years at the Lebanon Steel Foundry and he 
  was a member of St. Benedict The Abbot Church, Lebanon. He is survived by a 
  daughter, Delene M., wife of Dennis Bowers, of Lebanon; three grandchildren, 
  Derrick S. Kreiser, Cortney A. Kreiser, and Dakota R. Bowers; two great-
  grandchildren, Hailee Kreiser and Payton Kreiser, all of Lebanon; and a brother-
  in-law, Charles Harvey Jr., of Myerstown. He was preceded in death by a sister, 
  Elizabeth A. Harvey. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the 
  family. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. 126 S. 9th St. Lebanon is entrusted with 
  the arrangements.
