  Linwood R. Shoener 
  
  LEBANON Linwood R. Shoener, 92, formerly of Myerstown, died Saturday, June 25, 
  2011, at Cedar Haven, Lebanon. He was the husband of Catherine M. (Witmier) 
  Shoener, who died August 4, 1999. Born in Orwigsburg, on May 22, 1919, he was 
  the son of the late Herbert D. and Mary B. (Osenbaugh) Shoener. He served in 
  the U.S. Army during WWII and had been employed for many years as a shoemaker 
  for J. S. Zulick, Orwigsburg, until his retirement. He was a member of 
  Myerstown UCC; Myerstown Senior Citizens and enjoyed playing bingo, bachi ball, 
  and wii bowling when he resided at Elmcroft, Lebanon. He is survived by a 
  daughter, Linda wife of Lester Brightbill of Myerstown; grandsons, Jefferson 
  Brechbuhl, Tocoma Park, Md., and Brandon Brightbill, Korea; great-
  grandchildren, Angela, Ashley, Amy Brightbill and Elza Brechbuhl; brothers, 
  Henry Shoener of Mary D., Pa., Daniel husband of Anna Shoener of Orwigsburg, 
  Charles husband of Cindy Shoener of Lewistown; several nieces and nephews. He 
  was preceded in death by brothers, Marlin and Clifford Shoener. Funeral 
  services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. 
  Washington Ave., Myerstown. Viewing Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Interment at 
  Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
