  Gereon F. Sholl 
  
  BETHEL Gereon F. Sholl, 84, died Saturday, April 16, 2011, at the Lebanon VA 
  Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Mary J. (Reber) Sholl who died 
  October 20, 1985. Born in Summit Station, on April 25, 1926, he was the son of 
  the late Milton I. and Sarah S. (Brommer) Sholl. He was a Navy veteran, having 
  served in WWII. He retired from Quaker Alloy in Myerstown in 1988 after 25 
  years. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Summer Hill Road, Auburn. 
  He was a life member of Bethel and Mt. Aetna Fire Company's, and the 
  Strausstown Rod and Gun Club. Mr. Sholl enjoyed hunting, gardening, and baking. 
  He is survived by a companion, Kathryn Reber, Bethel; three sons, Milton D. 
  Sholl husband of Josephine, Robesonia, Dennis L. Sholl husband of Julie, 
  Bloomsburg, and Gary F. Sholl husband of Ruth, Mt. Aetna; a brother, Paul V. 
  Sholl, MD; a sister-in-law, Carol Sholl, Lebanon; seven grandchildren; five 
  great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death 
  by seven brothers and two sisters. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, 
  at Hill Funeral Home, Rehrersburg. Friends are invited to call 10 to 11 a.m. 
  Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Summer Hill Cemetery.
