  CAMPBELLTOWN Ruth Geraldine (Lockard) Skinner, 91, passed away unexpectedly on 
  Thursday, December 1, 2011, at her home. She was predeceased by her loving 
  husband, Wilber "Buzz" C. Skinner, in 1994. She was born Tuesday, April 13, 
  1920, in Columbia, to the late Samuel C. and Carrie (Perry) Lockard. She was a 
  member of Rocherty United Methodist Church, Campbelltown Volunteer Fire 
  Company Ladies Auxiliary, and York County Racing Club. She was a loyal 
  Philadelphia Phillies and PSU football fan. Most of all, she was a loving 
  mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by a son, Dale C. Skinner and 
  wife, Cindy of Campbelltown; a daughter, Linda K. Shutt and husband, Kevin of 
  Campbelltown; a granddaughter, Dawn J. Shutt of Campbelltown; and two sisters, 
  Mildred Weaver and Emma Hawk. She was predeceased by two brothers, Marlin and 
  Samuel Lockard; and a sister, Orah Mellinger. Funeral services will be held 
  Monday, December 5, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation 
  Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078 with the Rev. Lawrence Richard 
  officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 10 a.m. until 
  time of the service. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
