  SOUTH LONDONDERRY TWP. Hazel E. Smith, 87, passed away Monday, August 22, 2011 
  at Twin Oaks Nursing Center, Campbelltown. Born July 3, 1924 in Louisa County, 
  Va., she was a daughter of the late Ethel E. Gibson. Retired from the H. B. 
  Reese Candy Company, she was a member of Calvary Bible Church, Colebrook, 
  Hershey Senior Citizens and Palmyra Senior Citizens. She was the widow of 
  Harry W. Smith who died April 25, 2002. Surviving are her children, Monte 
  Smith of Palmyra and Wanda S., wife of John Elliott of Palmyra; sisters, 
  Bessie, wife of Kenneth Decatur of Gordonsville, Va. and Alma Watson of Allen 
  Park, Mich.; grandchildren, Justin, husband of Malinda Elliott of Palmyra, 
  Jaclyn Elliott of Palmyra and Amanda, wife of David Leiner, III of 
  Mooresville, N.C. and; great-grandson, David Leiner, IV. A funeral service 
  will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Preddy Funeral Home, Gordonsville, Va., 
  preceded by a viewing from 1 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be in 
  Hillcrest Cemetery, Louisa, Va. There will also be a viewing from 6 to 7 p.m. 
  Wednesday at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra.
