  Violet V. Smith 
  
  LEBANON Violet V. Smith, 101, formerly of Interfaith Manor, Palmyra, died 
  Friday, March 18, 2011, in Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon. Born in Rockingham 
  County, Va., on April 14, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Luther P. and 
  Molly Smith. She was employed by the Milton Hershey Schools where she worked in 
  the cafeteria and kitchen for over 30 years. Violet was a member of the Spring 
  Creek Church of the Brethren, Hershey. Surviving are a son, Eugene W., husband 
  of Sandy Smith of Annville; grandchildren, Wayne Smith and fiancee, LuAnn, 
  Rodney, husband of Nicki Smith, and Corey, husband of Michelle Smith; and great-
  grandchildren, Cassie, Michaela, Colton, and Charles, Kenton, Kyla, and Andrew, 
  and Marianna. She was preceded in death by a son, Gerald D. Smith, and a 
  brother, Victor Smith. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. 
  from the Spring Creek Church of the Brethren, 335 E. Areba Ave., Hershey. 
  Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewing will be held on 
  Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 
  618 E. Main St., Annville, and on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
