  George H. Snyder Jr. 
     
  LEBANON George H. Snyder, Jr., 76, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in the 
  Harrisburg Hospital. He was the husband of Alice J. Hollinger Snyder with whom 
  he would have celebrated a 57th wedding anniversary on December 17th. He was 
  born in Lebanon on March 29, 1935, a son of the late George H. Snyder, Sr. and 
  Ester Gingrich Snyder Light. He was retired from the Hershey Foods Corporation 
  with 43 years of service. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean 
  Conflict. George was a member of the Liberty arching Club; PA State Fireman's 
  Association; PA Southeaster Association; Gooseneck Association; Annville 
  American Legion; Annville Amvets; 40 and 8; Local 464 of Hershey; Beneficial 
  Society Victor Emanuel II Men's Social Club. He and his wife enjoyed spending 
  many summers at the beach in Millsboro, Del., with many friends. In addition 
  to his wife, he is survived by children, George H. Snyder III of Lebanon, 
  Georgianna wife of Jeffrey Leininger of Lebanon, Lynda wife of Ron Crater of 
  Lebanon, Kathymarie wife of Robert Frederick, Jackson, Minn.; grandchildren, 
  Angi, John, Charlotte, Brandon, David; six great-grandchildren; one brother, 
  Lester Snyder of Lebanon; and several nieces. He was preceded in death by a 
  brother, Lynford Light. Funeral services will be Monday, December 5, 2011 at 9 
  a.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon 17042, where a 
  viewing will begin at 8 a.m. Interment will be made in the National Cemetery 
  at Ft. Indiantown Gap at 11 a.m. with full military honors.
