  Geraldine R. (Gerry) Snyder
  
  PALMYRA Geraldine R. (Gerry) Snyder, 85, formerly of Elizabethtown, passed 
  away on October 8, 2011, at Lebanon Valley Brethren Home. She was the wife of 
  L. Eugene Snyder of Palmyra. They were married for 64 years in April. Born in 
  West Donegal Twp., she was the daughter of the late Stehman and Esther 
  (Walmer) Landis. Gerry loved to travel, knit and crochet, but most of all 
  spend time with her family and friends. She worked for many years in the 
  Elizabethtown High School cafeteria and was a hostess at Clearview Diner in 
  Elizabethtown. She was a member of the First Church of God in Elizabethtown. 
  In addition to her husband L. Eugene, Gerry is survived by two sons, Dennis E. 
  Snyder (wife Barb), Elizabethtown and Jeffrey F. Snyder (wife Deb), 
  Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Michelle Stoner (husband Meade), Lancaster; 
  Michael Snyder (wife Melissa), Spring Grove; Shawna E. and Yulia M. Snyder, 
  Harrisburg; seven great-grandchildren, Maggie, Isaiah, Olivia, Ane, Grace, 
  Levi and Anna; a sister, Shirley Hackenberger (husband Richard), 
  Elizabethtown; and a brother, Barry Landis (wife Fran), Lancaster. A Funeral 
  Service will be held on Wednesday at the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, 1200 
  Grubb St., Palmyra at 11 a.m. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 
  the time of service. Interment will take place in Shenks Cemetery, 
  Elizabethtown.  Arrangements by Miller/ Sekely Funeral Services, Elizabethtown.
