M. shabodeho@aol.com July 2, 2011, 11:05 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on July 1, 2011 Cecile Ida Bowser Klingensmith Stitt JONESTOWN Cecile Ida Bowser Klingensmith Stitt, 87, formerly of Leechburg, went to live with our Lord Tuesday morning June 28, 2011, at the Brethren Home of Palmyra. Born March 10, 1924, to the late Floyd and Grace Wolf Bowser of Leechburg. She was a member of the Hebron Lutheran Church in Leechburg and the Post Chapel at Fort Indiantown Gap. During World War II she was employed by the Schenley Distillery. She was a member of the American Legion of Leechburg, and a Lifetime Member of the T.O.P.S. Club. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ritchel G. Klingensmith (1941); second husband, Robert S. Stitt (1983); grandson, Mark William Stitt (1971); and siblings, Samual Bowser, wife Marge Bowser, Richard (Dick) Bowser, Eugene (Red) Bowser, sister Maxine Bowser Robinson and her husband Eugene Robinson. Mrs. Stitt is survived by her sons and their wives, Ritchel G. Klingensmith and wife Barbara of Florida, William F. Stitt and wife Susan of Abbottstown, Robert D. Stitt of Jonestown, and daughter Patti M. Stitt Morris and husband John Morris of Crittenton, Ky. She also leaves eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one on the way, as well as one great-great-grandchild and one on the way; two sisters-in-law, Doris Bowser and Joanne Bowser; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
