Strubhar, Jr., 53, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2011, at the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. Born in Lebanon, on May 28, 1958, he was the son of Betty L. Fulmer Strubhar Hancock of Lebanon and the late George H. Strubhar, Sr. For 30 years he had worked as a loom fixer for Keystone Mills in Lebanon. He was a member of the Jonestown Perseverence Fire Co. and the Camp Strauss Fire Co. He loved camping, fishing, and NASCAR, and especially his favorite drivers, Carl Edwards and the late Alan Kulwicki. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brothers, Raymond R. and his wife, Lisa of Camp Hill, Keith A. of Lebanon, and Randy R. and his wife, Toni of Ebenezer; a sister, Nancy S., wife of David Pickett of Fredericksburg; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 12 noon at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 and Camp Meeting Road, Jonestown. There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his mother for his medical expenses.
