  MYERSTOWN Pierce D. Sweigart, 83, Myerstown, formerly of S. 4th St., Denver, 
  died October 17, 2011, in Lebanon VA Hospice. Born in Lancaster, a son of the 
  late Harvey K. and Helen C. (Redcay) Sweigart, his wife, Mabel H. (Young) 
  Sweigart, died February 22, 2010. A member of Peace U.C.C., Denver, he 
  attended Frieden's Lutheran Church, Myerstown. Pierce worked 35 years for 
  Weaver Industries, Denver, and was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was a member of 
  Denver Boro. Police Commission, Denver Fire Co., Basketball Old Timers, 
  American Legion Cloister Post 429, Lanc. Chapter - National Assoc. of 
  Accountants, PA Fed. of Sportsmans Clubs and the Marion Srs. Group of 
  Myerstown. Surviving is a twin brother, Daniel P. (Louise Law) Sweigart, 
  Adamstown; and two grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Robin D. 
  Sweigart. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. from Good Funeral Home, 
  Reamstown, with burial in Muddy Creek Cemetery, Swartzville. The viewing will 
  be Friday 10 to 11 a.m.
