  William E. Tobias Sr. 
  
  CEDAR HAVEN William E. Tobias, Sr., 72, formerly of Myerstown, died peacefully 
  with his family by his side on Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at the Good 
  Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Born in Myerstown, on February 8, 1939, he was the 
  son of the late Edward and Agnes (Ream) Tobias. He had been employed as a heavy 
  equipment operator for A.H. Moyer, Inc., Myerstown, for many years. He 
  worshipped in the Protestant faith and enjoyed gardening, antiques, attending 
  flea markets, car races, collecting, and repairing clocks and watches, and 
  animals. He is survived by daughters, Debra, wife of Houston Cunningham of 
  Lebanon, Lisa, wife of Tim Hamilton of Sembach, Germany, and Karen, wife of 
  Jeffrey Phillips of Richland; son, Edward W., husband of Remy Tobias of Mary 
  Esther, Fla.; grandchildren, Jesse Sweigart, Jared Hamilton, Mallori Hamilton, 
  James Spitler, Ryan Spitler, Caitlyn Tobias, and Marina Tobias; sister, Shirley 
  Lines of Bird in Hand; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death 
  by a son, William Tobias, Jr.; granddaughter, Lindsay Spitler; and sister, 
  Betty Lutz. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from Grose Funeral 
  Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. Viewing Friday at 10 am. Interment at 
  Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
