Cherry St., died Thursday, May 19, 2011, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Joanne M. Wagner Umberger with whom he would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in June, 2011. Born in Annville, on September 11, 1932, he was the son of the late Raymond B. and Eva M. Propst Umberger. He was the owner of Umberger's Trailer Sales, Palmyra, and a former parts clerk at Klick-Lewis, Palmyra. Les was a 1950 graduate of Annville High School. He was a former member of Grantville United Methodist Church, Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, Palmyra, and Grace Chapel, Elizabethtown. He was a member of the Hershey-Palmyra Sertoma Club, the Coachman Caravan Camping Association, the Hershey and Pennsylvania Dutch Region Antique Automobile Club of America, the Penna. Recreation Vehicle and Camping Association, Palmyra Sportsman's Club, and a lifetime member of the NRA. He was an avid hunter, woodworker, and camper. Surviving, in addition to his wife are a son, Lynn R. Umberger of Palmyra; two daughters, Doreen J. Umberger of Palmyra, and DeAnn J., wife of Chuck Feaser of Cleona; and six grandchildren, Mikel, Julian, Adam, and Markus Umberger, and Jarrett and Jerika Feaser. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St. Annville. Interment will be held in Grantville Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Penn State M.S.
