  Katherine L. Verna 
  
  LEBANON Katherine L. Verna, 76, died Saturday, October 15, 2011, at her 
  residence. She was the wife of Anthony G. Verna. Born in Cornwall, on July 12, 
  1935, Katherine was the daughter of the late Edward and Helen Deutsch Reppert. 
  Katherine enjoyed baking, cooking, puzzles, reading, knitting, and spending 
  time with her family. She was a member of St. Mary's Church. Surviving, in 
  addition to her husband, are four children, Gary A., Sr., husband of Kathy 
  Verna, Stefanie A., wife of Paul Petruska, Edward J., Sr., husband of Emma 
  Verna, and Anthony J. Sr., husband of Tina Verna; 11 grandchildren; and 
  several great-grandchildren. Katherine was preceded in death by a son, Steven 
  G. Verna. Funeral Mass Wednesday at 10 a.m. from St. Mary's Church, 2 N. 8th 
  St., Lebanon. Interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Visitation 
  Wednesday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. Thompson Funeral Home, 
  Inc., is entrusted with the arrangements.
