  Anna Vidunas 
   
  LEBANON Anna Vidunas, 81, formerly of Morea, and a current resident of Elm 
  Croft Assisted Living in Lebanon, died Thursday morning, June 16, 2011, at Good 
  Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. Born in Morea, she was the daughter of the late 
  Steve and Mary (Diakow) Sorokanych. She was a 1947 graduate of Mahanoy Township 
  High School and attended beautician school. She lived and worked as a self 
  employed beautician in Lebanon for many years. She was of the Catholic faith. 
  Preceding her in death, in addition to her parent,s were her husband, 
  Stanley "Swanee" Vidunas in 1995, and a sister, Helen Gammons. Survivors 
  include one brother, John Sorokanych and his wife, Carole of Aston; a sister, 
  Mary Gerhard and her husband, Glenn of Hometown; and nieces and nephews. 
  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Monday morning, June 
  20, at 11 a.m. from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City with Deacon 
  Joseph Costa officiating. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Cemetery 
  in Mahanoy Township. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday morning 
  from 10 a.m. until time of service.
