Wagner Jr. PALMYRA Scott Winfield Wagner, Jr., 89, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, while at The Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. He is survived by his loving wife, Rozella Mae (Wise) Wagner. He was born Sunday, March 12, 1922, in Mapleton Depot, Huntingdon County, to the late Scott W. Wagner, Sr. and Hattie Mae (Bennett) Wagner. He retired from the Patriot News Company, had worked for the Daily News in Huntingdon, and the Evangelical Free Press in Harrisburg. He was affiliated with Grace Chapel in Elizabethtown and attended Palmyra Brethren in Christ Church. He used his many God given talents in the name of Christ. He is survived by three sons, Terry and wife, Marilyn of Oklahoma, Thomas and wife, Nancy of Scotland, Pa., and Timothy and wife, Kay of Duncannon; one stepson, Robert Martrano; five grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren. He was predeceased by four sisters, Anna Bookheimer, Esther Clark, Mary Dreblow, and Clara Madeala. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Palmyra Brethren in Christ Church, 616 W. Main St., Palmyra 17078 with Pastor Larry Rieck and Pastor Melvin Weaver officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Guests may use main entrance and park on the Cherry Street side of the church. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Annville. Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his honor to Grace Chapel, Missionary Fund or Food Bank, or Palmyra BIC Church, Missionary Fund.
