  Evelyn R. Walter 
  
  LEBANON Evelyn R. Walter, 92, Lebanon, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011, at 
  the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late J. Galen Shimp and 
  the late Ammon R. Walter. Born in Lebanon on February 15, 1919, she was the 
  daughter of the late George W. and Edith Livingood White. Evelyn was a former 
  employee of the Lebanon Paper Box and in the 1950's she was the first 
  registered woman plumber in the Lebanon region, working with her late first 
  husband. She loved watching game shows on TV. Surviving is a son, Gary L. Shimp 
  of Arcata, CA and a niece, Judy Daubert of Annville. She was preceded in death 
  by sisters, Annette and Kathleen White. Relatives and friends are respectfully 
  invited to attend Evelyn's graveside service, Friday, April 1, 2011, at 2 p.m. 
  at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Maple St, Lebanon, with Rev. Richard F. Luciotti 
  officiating. Arrangements Entrusted to Ruffner-Porterfield Funeral Directors & 
  Cremations Service, 890 Isabel Drive, Lebanon.
