Weaber, 64, died Thursday, November 17, 2011, in the Hospice of Lancaster County, Mt. Joy. He was the husband of Karen M. Yake Weaber, to whom he was married to for 44 years. Born in South Annville Twp. on July 6, 1947, he was the son of the late Walter H. and Gladys M. Sonon Weaber. He was employed as a Log Salesman for Weaber, Inc., Mt. Wilson. Ernie graduated from Annville-Cleona High School in 1965, was a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam and also served with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He was a member of the Mt. Wilson Church of the Brethren and the Hardwood Lumber Association. Ernie was an avid fisherman, enjoyed hunting, trapping, camping, gardening, and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are four daughters, Tammy S. wife of William Harton of Meadeview, AZ, Amy J. Gordon of Jonestown, Michelle M. wife of Richard Russell of Tamaqua, Kelly R. Weaber of East Stroudsburg; seven brothers, Gene W. Weaber of Lebanon, Lewellyn M. Weaber of Lewis, Del., Galen G. Weaber of Lebanon, Stanley D. Weaber of Lebanon, Elvin N. Weaber of Palmyra, Delbert R. Weaber of Lebanon, Beryle N. Weaber of Lebanon; three sisters Joanne L. wife of Wilmer Kreider of Liverpool, Debra J. Kline of Pennsburg, Vickie L. wife of Patrick Slovick of Lawrenceville, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Alyssa and Tyler Garee, Samantha Gordon, Jayden and Jack Heagele, and Rose and Ryan Russell. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Lee Gordon, Jefferson Heagele; a brother, Nelson N. Weaber; and a sister, Darlene J. Cavanaugh. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. from the Mt. Wilson Church of the Brethren, Mt. Wilson Road, Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville is in charge of arrangements.
