M. shabodeho@aol.com February 23, 2011, 1:07 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on February 23, 2011 Sara Jane Weaver ROBESONIA Sara Jane Weaver, 88, passed away Monday, February 21, 2011, in The Highlands at Wyomissing, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Richard Weaver. She was predeceased by her first husband, Harry C. Bertolette in 1994. Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late George and Mamie (Zambito) Nicrone. She attended Reading High School and Bryland Institute of Cosmetology. Sara Jane was a hairdresser for Renee Beauty Salons, Reading, for over 30 years, retiring as manager in 1973. She then worked at Flemington Outlet, Reading. She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church, Whitfield. Sara loved spending time shopping with her sisters and going out in the evening for dinner and dancing. She truly cherished her family and the time they had together. She will be dearly missed. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Barry, husband of Connie Bertolette, Concord, N.C.; step-daughters: Joy Progansky, Naples, Fla.; Sylvia, wife of Douglas Heagy, Newmanstown and Nancy, wife of Delmar Zartman, Schaefferstown; her step-sons: Richard Weaver, Jr., Ocala, Fla. and David, husband of Colleen Weaver, Lancaster and her sisters: Ann, wife of William Vath, Reading and Nettie, wife of James P. Thomas, Flying Hills. Also surviving are her nieces: Beverly Gallo, Eileen Franco, Judy Meyer, Ilona Katzenmoyer and Ann DiCerchio and her nephews: David Campbell and Dennis Campbell. Ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several great nieces and nephews also survive her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 12 p.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church, 2810 Saint Albans Dr., Whitfield, PA 19608. A viewing will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Ignatius Loyola School at the above address. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
