  Harold A. "Butch" Weidman 
  
  MYERSTOWN Harold "Butch" A. Weidman, 86, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at the 
  Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Grace A. (Mays) 
  Weidman, to whom he was married 10 years on October 21, 2010. His first wife 
  was Dorothy (Kopack) Weidman, who died in 1993. Born in Lebanon, on July 13, 
  1924, he was the son of the late Frank and Margie K. (Dissinger) Weidman. He 
  served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was employed as a lineman for Bethel-
  Mt. Aetna Telephone Company, Myerstown, for 37 years, retiring in 1986. He was 
  a member of ELCO Bible Church, Myerstown, and enjoyed riding motorcycles and 
  NASCAR racing. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Roxine, 
  wife of Danny Schneck of Lebanon; stepsons, Douglas, husband of Beth Troutman 
  of Denver, Pastor Daniel, husband of Dawn Troutman of Flemington, N.J., and 
  Lynn Troutman of Myerstown; two grandsons; seven stepgrandchildren; two great-
  granddaughters; sisters, Pauline Daub of Myerstown, and Reta M., wife of Irvin 
  Benfer of Myerstown; brothers, Sterling A., husband of Kathryn Weidman of 
  Myerstown, and Kenneth J., husband of Patricia Nelson of Myerstown; and several 
  nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Nelson; and 
  brothers, Lloyd and Franklin Weidman. Funeral services will be held Monday, 
  June 27, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., 
  Myerstown. Viewing Monday at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Indiantown Gap National 
  Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to 
  the American Cancer Society.
