  Roy S. Wenger Sr. 
  
  MT. ZION Roy S. Wenger Sr., 81, died Monday, May 23, 2011 at the M. S. Hershey 
  Medical Center. He was the husband of Helen R. (Sebastian) Wenger to whom he 
  would have been married 62 years on August 13. Born in Avon, on January 7, 
  1930, he was the son of the late Elmer W. and Alice (Strohm) Wenger. He had 
  been a carpenter for Mid State Local 287, Harrisburg for over fifty years. He 
  was a member of Myerstown Church of the Brethren; Kittatinny Hunting Club, 
  Myerstown Rod and Gun Club, and enjoyed playing dominos, hunting, and going to 
  Florida in the winter. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters 
  Donna Eberly of Mt. Zion and Brenda Mishoe of Mt. Zion and a son, Roy, Jr. 
  husband of Barbara Wenger of Myerstown; six grandchildren; four great-
  grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Wenger in 1966; 
  brother, Paul Wenger; and sister, Mae Leininger. Funeral services will be held 
  Friday at 2 p.m. from Myerstown Church of the Brethren. Viewing Thursday from 
  6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the church and Friday at 1 p.m. Interment at Heidelberg 
  Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Myerstown.  Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown has 
  been entrusted with the arrangements.
