  Mary L. Wertz 
  
  MYERSTOWN Mary Louise (Kintzer) Wertz, 93, formerly of Robesonia, died August 
  30, 2011, at Stone Ridge Poplar Run in Myerstown. She was the wife of Walter 
  W. Wertz, who died February 23, 1987. Born in Robesonia, she was the daughter 
  of Robert I. and Irene (Kalbach) Kintzer. She was a 1935 graduate of Robesonia 
  High School and a 1939 Graduate of Kutztown College. She was a 5th grade 
  teacher at S. Heidelberg School until the late 50's then continued to be a 
  librarian at Conrad Weiser High School retiring in 1980. She was a life time 
  member of St. Paul's U.C.C. in Robesonia and was very active in the church. 
  She was a long time member of Friends of the Robesonia Furnace and was an 
  active member in the garden division of the Robesonia Women's Club. She was 
  one of the founders and former president of the Robesonia Library and a member 
  of their great book club. She was a very active member of the Robesonia 
  Community. She is survived by a son, Dr. Robert G. Wertz, Sr., husband of Mary 
  Ann, Schaefferstown; a daughter-in-law, Elsa Wertz, Robesonia; six 
  grandchildren, Dr. Robert G. Wertz, Jr., Dr. Annie E., Benjamin W., Gabriel 
  T., Peter T., and Mary H. Wertz. In addition to her husband, she was 
  predeceased by a son, Atty. John T. Wertz; and a brother, David Kintzer. 
  Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, at St. Paul U.C.C., in 
  Robesonia, with her pastor the Rev. George Miller officiating. Friends are 
  invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, at the church. Burial will be in 
  Heidelberg Cemetery. Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, Wernersville, is in charge of 
  arrangements.
