  Allen M. Whitman Sr. 
  
  LEBANON Allen M. Whitman Sr., 56, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 9, 
  2011. He was born in Lebanon on November 10, 2011 [sic*], a son of the late William 
  J. and Eleanor E. Yingst Whitman. Mr. Whitman was employed helping others by 
  transporting them to their appointments. He was a member of the R Field and 
  Stream, avid Phillies and Minnesota Viking Fan. He also enjoyed fishing. 
  Surviving is his son, Allen M. Whitman Jr. of Sinking Springs; brothers, 
  William A. husband of Judith A. Whitman of Palmyra and Steven D. Whitman of 
  Lebanon; sister, Patty Y. wife of Jake Klopp of Lebanon; several nieces and 
  nephews. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 8 p.m. in the Rohland 
  Funeral Inc., 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, 17042 with Rev. Jerry Klopp 
  officiating. A visitation will be from 6 p.m. until the time of the service.
