"Duck" Winklebleck, 74, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Nancy Abel Winklebleck. They would have celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary on November 23, 2011. Born in Jonestown, on August 11, 1937, he was the son of the late Charles and Eleanor A. Miller Winklebleck, Sr. Donald served in the Navy and retired from crash rescue and the 211th EIS Air National Guard at Fort Indiantown Gap. Donald was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church Jonestown. He was active in the honor guard at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, a past commander of the Navy Club of Lebanon Ship 91, a member of the Rescue 4 Fire Co., AMVETS Post 293, American Legion Post 883, Perseverance Fire Co. Social Club, and Captain of the Jonestown Fire Police. He is survived by two sons, Donald L. Winklebleck of Jonestown and Daryl L. Winklebleck of Lebanon; three stepsons, Ralph H., husband of Teresa Clay of Cornwall, Ricky S. Clay of Lebanon, and Larry F. Clay of Annville; a stepdaughter, Jody L., wife of Edward Evans of Jonestown; and three brothers, Charles Winklebleck of Jonestown, Robert L., husband of Marion of Pine Grove, and Kenneth Winklebleck of New York. He was the proud grandpa of seven grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 22, at 10 a.m. from the Zion Lutheran Church, 103 E. Market St., Jonestown 17038. Interment will be at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will take place on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 and Camp Meeting Road, Jonestown.
