  LANCASTER Gladys J. Wise, 93, formerly of Akron, died February 13, 2011, in 
  Homestead Village, Lancaster. Born in Akron, a daughter of the late Norman A. 
  and Mamie M. (Wolf) Smith, her husband, Rev. Russel H. Wise, died Jan. 1, 1990. 
  A 1935 Ephrata High School graduate, she worked 20 years with RCA Corp., 
  Lancaster. Gladys was a member of Akron Grace Evangelical Congregational 
  Church, and assisted her late husband with administration of Kentucky at 
  Mission, Canyon Falls Christian Center, and later Myerstown E. C. Retirement 
  Village. She loved sewing, embroidery and cooking. Surviving are step-children, 
  Roberta Mileshovsky, Ozark, AL.; Elizabeth 'Betsy' (David) Fisher, Earleville, 
  MD; and Russel H., Jr., (Anita Schindler) Wise, Allentown; five step-
  grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren and three step-great-great-
  grandchildren.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday from Good Funeral Home & 
  Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with the Rev. Les Cool, officiating. Burial in 
  Brownstown Cemetery. The viewing will be Friday from 10 to 11 a.m.
