  HERSHEY Harry R. Witmer, 88, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at his home. Born 
  October 25, 1922, in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Joseph G. and Anna E. 
  (Johns) Witmer. He retired from Conrail. was a member of Palmyra Assembly of 
  God Church. and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife 
  of 68 years, Cleona E. (Arndt) Witmer; daughters, Tamar Winters of York, and 
  Melody, wife of Doug Bricker of Elizabethtown; brother, David Witmer; sisters, 
  Laura Anspach, Naomi Deaven, and JoAnne Zinn; grandchildren, Mark Winters, and 
  Tamar, wife of Josh Thomas; and great-grandchildren, Savannah and Cameron 
  Winters, and Gavin and Gabriella Thomas. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. 
  Saturday at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra, preceded by a viewing 
  from 10 a.m. Interment will be in Campbelltown United Christian Cemetery. In 
  lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his church, 1384 Park Drive, 
  Palmyra, PA 17078.
