  N. LONDONDERRY TWP. Benjamin F. Young, III, 82, of North Londonderry Township, 
  Lebanon County passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011, in the Good Samaritan 
  Hospital, Lebanon. Born May 20, 1929, in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late 
  Benjamin F., II and Reba (Koons) Young. A graduate of Bishop McDevitt High 
  School, he retired with 35 years of service as a police officer for Swatara 
  Township, Dauphin County and later was in charge of the in-school suspension 
  room at Cedar Crest High School. He was an honorary member of the Kentucky 
  Colonels and was past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge, Harrisburg. The widower 
  of Martha Jane (Artley) Young, he was also preceded in death by brothers Henry 
  and Robert and a sister Marie. Surviving are his children, Benjamin F. Young, 
  IV of Harrisburg and Kelly M, wife of Dave Dillman of Maryland; step-children, 
  Peggy Teahl of Palmyra and Gary, husband of Jan Wolfgang of Danville; 
  grandchildren, Natasha Young, Robert Monk, Heather Monk, Courtney Dillman, 
  Douglas, husband of Tracie Teahl, Roxanne, wife of Rod Boyer, Laurie, wife of 
  Dale Keller, Kathleen, wife of Chris Walmer, Lynn, wife of Greg Keller, 
  Kristi, wife of Dave Wilson and Beth, wife of Pete Ackerman; 18 great-
  grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. A funeral service will be held 1 
  p.m. Saturday at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra, preceded by a 
  viewing from 12 noon. Interment will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
