  LEBANON Bernice "Bea" Janet (Chovanec) Young, 63, passed away peacefully on 
  Monday, July 4, 2011, at The Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. She is 
  survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Charles E. Young. She was born 
  Wednesday, December 17, 1947, in Johnstown, to the late Frank J. and Rose 
  Chovanec. She graduated from Bishop McCort Catholic High School in 1965 and 
  Clarion State College in 1969. She worked for Highmark Blue Shield in Camp 
  Hill, loved to travel, take bus trips to casinos with friends and play bingo. 
  She was full of life and will be missed by many. In addition to her husband, 
  she is survived by a brother, Frank J. Chovanec, Jr. and wife, Sharon of 
  Lancaster. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Rothermel 
  Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078, 
  with the Rev. Howard Hess officiating. Family and friends are invited for 
  visitation from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow in 
  Grandview Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions 
  may be made in her honor to American Diabetes Association.
