  MYERSTOWN Edith J. Ziegler, 88, formerly of Stouchsburg, died Thursday, August 
  11, 2011 at her residence. She was the wife of Amos R. Ziegler who died June 
  4, 1984. Born in Meckville, on June 24, 1923, she was the daughter of the late 
  Henry D. and Mary M. (Shirk) Swope. She enjoyed baking and along with her 
  husband, baked for numerous markets and the former Trainer's Restaurant now 
  Risser's Restaurant, Stouchsburg for 10 years. She retired in 1984. She was a 
  member of Tulpehocken UCC, Richland, where she had been very active with the 
  Womens Guild. She enjoyed crocheting. She is survived by a friend, Darlene 
  wife of Torrey Moyer of Schaefferstown; and was preceded in death by brothers, 
  Ammon and Christian Swope; and a sister, Lena Harlan. Funeral services will be 
  held Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 2 p.m. from Tulpehocken UCC, Richland. 
  Viewing Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the church. Interment in the adjoining church 
  cemetery. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown is entrusted with the arrangements.
