  Alphonse V. Abromowski 
   
  PALMYRA Alphonse V. Abromowski, 93, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at Spang Crest 
  Manor. He was the husband of Florence J. Pagliarulo Abromowski, who died in 
  2009. Born in Norwood, Mass., on August 21, 1918, he was the son of the late 
  Benjamin and Olga Abromowski. Alphonse graduated from Norwood High School. He 
  proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Alphonse was a 
  lifelong New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. Surviving are a 
  daughter, Stephanie, wife of Roger Sands of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Josh 
  Sands and Cate Sands, Cate's fiancee, Mike Liguori, and Meghan Deatrick. He 
  was preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin Abromowski. Mass of Christian 
  Burial will be held Monday, June 11, 2012, at 9 a.m. from the Church of the 
  Holy Spirit, 245 W. Pine St., Palmyra. Interment with full military honors 
  will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. There will be no viewing or 
  visitation.
