  Grace E. Alspaugh 
   
  MCBRIDE, BC Grace Elizabeth Alspaugh went to be with the Lord on Saturday, 
  January 28, 2012, at the age of 63 years, two months, and nine days. She was 
  the wife of Joseph E. Alspaugh, Sr., whom she married June 14, 1969. Grace and 
  her husband, Joseph, lived in Pennsylvania until their move to McBride, 
  British Columbia, in the spring of 1989. After a 12 year battle with cancer, 
  she passed away peacefully in the McBride Hospital. She was born November 19, 
  1948, to the late Howard and Martha Patches in Lebanon. In addition to her 
  loving husband, Joseph, Sr., Grace is survived by her children, Janet (Rick) 
  Powell of Pennsylvania, Joseph, Jr. (Jessica) Alspaugh of Washington, Cynthia 
  (Simon) Birky of Vancouver Island, and Rose (David) Birky of British Columbia; 
  her brother, James, husband of Jean; and her sisters, Ruth, wife of David 
  Keller, and Naomi, wife of Luke Bucher. She will be fondly remembered by her 
  family, 21 grandchildren, and many other relatives, friends, and neighbors. 
  She was preceded in death by her brother, Mark, and grandson, Daryl Birkly.
