  LEBANON Maria Baez, 69, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at home.  Maria 
  was born in Puerto Rico on May 1, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Tomasa 
  (Cartagena) and Cristino Baez.  She enjoyed watching soap operas and attending 
  church.  She is survived by three children: Maria DeLourdez Rodriguez, Maria 
  D. Rivera Otero, and Peter J. Walker Baez, all of Lebanon; a sister Delores 
  Baez; 10 grandchildren - Ana M. Marquez, Fernando Marquez, Steven Marquez, 
  Jonathan Marquez, Ramon Salcedo, Joseph Otero, Jose A. Rivera, Maria A. 
  Rivera, Peter Walker, Jr., and Luis Walker, Jr; and 11 great grandchildren.  
  She was preceded in death by a son Luis J. Walker Baez, a brother Pedro Baez, 
  and a sister Alejandri Colon.  A viewing will be held on Friday June 22, 2012 
  from 5:00-7:00PM at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 South 9th Street, 
  Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the 
  family.
