  LEBANON Bruce Allen Barshinger, 52, of Lebanon passed away Thursday, September 
  6, 2012 at his residence.   Born in Lebanon, PA on October 2, 1959, Bruce was a 
  son of the late William Earl and Irene Myrtle (Boyer) Barshinger.  He worked at 
  the Lebanon VA Medical Center for the past 33 years.  He is survived by 3 
  brothers: James Barshinger, of Southaven, MS; Ronald and William Barshinger, of 
  Jonestown, PA; 4 sisters: Jackie Gassert, of Myerstown, PA; Nancy Thornton and 
  Wanda Brown, of Lebanon, PA and Norma Boyer, of Moore, OK.   He was preceded in 
  death by a brother, Robert Barshinger.  No services will be held, per his 
  wishes. In memory of Bruce Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude 
  Children's Research Hospital,  Memphis, TN,  or donate on line at 
  www.stjude.org.
