(Muller) Behler, 69, entered into rest after a lengthy illness, on Sunday afternoon, September 23, 2012, at her residence. She was the wife of late Robert L. Behler. She was born on December 25, 1942 in Bamberg, Germany, the daughter of the late Adam and Josephine Muller. She retired as an assembly-person for Honeywell and prior to that, she was a dedicated homemaker for 17 years. She was a member of the Camp Strausse Fire Company Social Club in Fredericksburg. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and watching her grandchildren grow up. Helga is survived by three sons, Roark E. Behler of Ellenton, Fla., Robert S. Behler and his wife Connie of York, Richard E. Behler and his wife Gerri of York; a daughter, JoAnn Nesbit of York; and eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a devoted brother-in-law and best friend, Fred Fulmer of Fredericksurg. She was one of 15 children, of which she is survived by Tina Nicholas of Georgia, Agnes May of Arizona, Eva Flores of Texas, Resi and Hans of Germany. She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey E. Behler; and nine brothers and sisters. Following cremation, a celebration of life will be held at the Camp Strausse Fire Company Social Club at the discretion of the family. The Christman's Funeral Home Inc. Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.
