  Edward E. Behney 
   
  LEBANON Edward E. Behney, 97, formerly of Pine Grove, passed away Tuesday, 
  January 3, 2012, in Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon. Born on December 15, 1914, in 
  Pine Grove Twp., he was a son of the late Orton and Beulah V. Mease Behney. He 
  was a 1932 graduate of Pine Grove High School. Edward was a member of the 
  Outwood Lutheran Church, Pine Grove. He worked 40 years at P.P. & L as a 
  turbine room operator and dispatcher. Preceding him in death were his wife, 
  Helen Unger Behney, on July 22, 2002, one sister, Annie Snyder and four 
  brothers, Stewart Behney, Clayton Behney, Leonard Behney and Paul Behney. 
  Surviving are two daughters, Alice and husband, William G. Spayd of 
  Fredericksburg, Calthanna and husband, Robert M. Fritz of Annville, eight 
  grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren. Services 
  will be held at H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Monday, January 9, 2012, at 
  11:30 a.m. with Rev. Barry L. Spatz officiating. There will be a viewing on 
  Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. 
  Interment will follow in the Outwood Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.
