Bennetch, 79, went to be "absent from the body and present with the Lord." "In His presence is fullness of joy". Born September 21, 1932, in Millbach Springs, he was a son of the late David and Florence (Hostetter) Bennetch. The owner of Bob Bennetch Fine Men's Clothing on Chocolate Avenue, Hershey; he was a graduate of Schaefferstown High School. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, having served with the Land Rescue Team and as a Survival Instructor. Surviving are his wife Barbara A. (Sandy) Bennetch; children, Cindy, wife of Roger Sample of South Carolina and Tammy Bennetch of East Berlin; brother, Rev. Frederick Bennetch of Marysville; and grandchildren, Andrew, husband of Jessie Sample and Adam Sample. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. on June 16, 2012, at Hanover First Church of God. Private interment, with military honors, will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
