Marian was the wife of Ray L. Berger. Marian and Ray were married 62 years. Mrs. Berger was born January 13, 1934 in Marion Township, the daughter of the late Paul A. and Elsie M. (Miller) Luckenbill. Marian was mother to Daniel F. husband of Shirley I. (Machmer) Berger of Bernville, Clifford R. husband of Fay M. (Arnold) Berger of Fredricksburg, Patricia A. widow of Albert E.Timmins III of Bethel, and Debra E. wife of Randy D. Weidman of Bernville. Marian was blessed and loved her 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Mrs. Berger is also survived by two brothers, Robert D. Luckenbill and; Chester J. Luckenbill both of Bernville; and a sister, Lorraine I. widow of Harold H.Hix of Shartlesville. Marian was predeceased by two brothers, James H. Luckenbill and Arthur D. Luckenbill; and three sisters, Pauline R. Noll, Helen E. Miller, and Arline R. Albert. As a hobby she enjoyed cooking and baking but best of all was her time spent with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Berger was past treasurer of the Bernville Grange #1887 and was a former treasurer of the Lebanon County Farm Women. She was a member of Zion Blue Mountain U.C.C., Strausstown. Funeral services will be held from St. Thomas Church, Bernville, on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Rev. William Miller officiating. Interment will be in Haag's Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Kirkhoff Funeral Home Bernville and at St. Thomas Church, Bernville, on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the services. Contributions may be offered in Marian's memory to the Kidney Foundation of Central PA, Harrisburg, PA or the Shriners Children's Hospital.
