(Sweinhart) Billman, 73, entered the church triumphant on Saturday, May 26, 2012, after fighting a courageous six year battle with numerous illnesses. She was the wife of Franklin M. Billman, Sr., who died November 18, 1996. Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late Calvin R. and Beulah B. (Knerr) Sweinhart. She was a 1956 graduate of Bethel High School. She retired from the Lebanon Valley Bank in 1996, having previously worked for the Budget Dept. of the State of PA. She was a member of Altalaha Lutheran Church, Rehrersburg, and an associate member of Friedens Lutheran Church in Myerstown. She is survived by two daughters, Faye A. Bishop of Lebanon, and Celia C., wife of Rev. Albert J. Domines, Jr. of Elizabethtown; a stepdaughter, Margaret M. "Peg", widow of Kenneth C. Marderness of Womelsorf; four stepsons, Brian B. Billman, husband of Eileen of Jonestown, Franklin M. Billman, Jr., husband of Maria of Arlington, Texas, Douglas D. Billman of Lebanon, and Jeffrey J. Billman of Richland; three brothers, Willard Sweinhart, husband of Ellen of Womelsdorf, Wilson Sweinhart, husband of Martha of Myerstown, and Carl Sweinhart, husband of Irene of Hershey; three sisters, Bertha Kennedy of Mt. Joy, Carrie, wife of Rev. Arthur Mahaffey of Manheim, and Grace, wife of Russel Boyanowski of Annville; three grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; 10 step great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Steven S. Billman; three brothers, Alton, Harold, and Clark Sweinhart; and two sisters, Marie Kieffer and Emma Gettel. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Frediens Lutheran Church, Myerstown, with her pastor, The Rev. Rob Miller, officiating. Friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hill Funeral Home, Rehrersburg, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Altalaha Lutheran Church Cemetery.
