M. shabodeho@aol.com June 3, 2012, 11:24 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on May 27, 2012 Jane M. Brown CLEONA Jane M. Brown, 86, died Friday, May 25, 2012, in her daughter's residence. She was the wife of Bill D. Brown, who died in 2007. Born in Clark Summit, on September 6, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Ethel Barnes Capwell. She was a devoted pastor's wife and very active in his ministry. Jane was a graduate of Clark Summit High School, Scranton Junior College, and received her BA from West Virginia Wesleyan College. She was an active member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Cleona, and the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 18, Buckhannan, W.Va. Jane was a loving mother and grandmother, and an avid writer, having published several articles. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia E., wife of Gary Gerber of Annville, with whom she lived; three sons, Paul L., husband of Allison Brown of Stephens City, Va., Richard S., husband of Peggy Brown of Huntington, W.Va., and William D. Brown of Wernersville; 10 grandchildren, Megan, Jeff, Scott, Kayla, and Emma Brown, Lynn and Marc Donmoyer, Aaron Gerber, and Mike and Katie Brown; a brother, Donald, husband of Melba Capwell of Lincoln University, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. from Immanuel United Methodist Church, 29 E. Maple St., Cleona, PA 17042. Viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville, and on Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the church. A funeral procession will form on Friday at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home for interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 9 a.m. Contributions may be made to Immanuel United Methodist Church in her memory.
