M. shabodeho@aol.com May 27, 2012, 11:22 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on May 18, 2012 Mary Bryce LEBANON Mary Grace "Fred" Light Bryce, 90, of Cedar Haven Nursing Home, Lebanon died Thursday May 17, 2012, in her residence. She was the wife of the late George W. Bryce, Sr. Born in Lebanon on July 21, 1921, she was the daughter of the late V. Earl, Sr. and Cora G. Heilman Light. She was employed as a substitute music teacher for various Lebanon County Schools and also did Census work. Mary was a graduate of Annville High School and Lebanon Valley College. She was a member of the Annville United Methodist Church where she taught the Married Couples Sunday school Class and sang in the Church Choir and also was member and secretary of the Lebanon Flower Club. She volunteered at the Good Samaritan Hospital, was a caregiver, gave private piano lessons, spoke seven different languages, and loved gardening, canning, and spending time with her family. Surviving are two sons, John F. Bryce of Farmington, Utah, Robert M. Bryce of Fredericksburg; two daughters, Barbara Moore of Ephrata, Mary "Mic" Thomas of San Diego, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two brothers V. Earl Light, Jr. of Annville, James F. Light of Brighton, Utah; two sisters Anna of Chambersburg, and Ruth Leffler of Columbia, Md. She was preceded in death by a son, George F. Bryce, Jr.; and a brother, John Henry Light. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 12:30 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
