  ELIZABETHTOWN Elsie M. Capp, 72, died Thursday, August 2, 2012, in ManorCare, 
  Elizabethtown. Born May 12, 1940, in Bainbridge, she was a daughter of the late 
  Ernest and Mary (Mengel) Nye. A member of Lawn Evangelical Congregational 
  Church, she was a lifelong dairy farmer with her husband and enjoyed gardening, 
  woodworking, her pets, old cars, and was a supreme Elvis fan. She was preceded 
  in death by brothers, Troy and Claude "Perk", and grandson, Billy Rae. 
  Surviving are her husband of almost 53 years, William C. Capp; children, Donna 
  K., wife of Michael Spittle of Elizabethtown, Debbie L., wife of Gern Haldeman, 
  Jr. of Hummelstown, and William C. Capp, Jr., husband of Lisa of Hershey; 
  brother, Harold of Mount Joy; sister, Mabel of WA; six grandchildren; two 
  stepgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 
  11 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., 
  Palmyra, preceded by a viewing from 10 a.m. Interment in Gravel Hill Cemetery, 
  Palmyra.
