    MYERSTOWN Jean Bower Carl, 89, of Stone Ridge Town Center in Myerstown, 
    formerly of Tremont, died Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Stone Ridge. She was born in 
    Berwick November 27, 1922, a daughter of the late Delmar and Blanche Bower 
    Sharretts. She was a retired Dental Hygienist for the Harrisburg School 
    District and a member of St. John's U.M. Church in Tremont. She was a graduate 
    of the University Of PA School Of Dental Hygiene. She was preceded in death by 
    her Husband Harry Carl in 2001; two brothers, Ed and Gere Sharretts, and three 
    sisters, Clarissa Welliver, Evelyn Banghart and Mary Curwood. She is survived 
    by three daughters, Diane Strozyk of Vineland N.J., Donna Carl and her 
    Companion, Martin Hoover of Tremont, and Doris and Jeffrey Behney of Myerstown; 
    a sister, Ruth Longenberger of Arvada Colo.; also three grandchildren, Isaac 
    Strozyk, Jennifer and Nathan Behney. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday 
    at 10 a.m. at the Minnig-Berger Funeral Home in Tremont; Rev. John Fordyce will 
    officiate. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 9 a.m. until 
    the time of service. Interment will be Private in Indiantown Gap National 
    Cemetery in Annville. Memorial
