  LEBANON Richard M. Carmichael, 65, passed away Monday, March 26, 2012, at the 
  Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was born March 14, 1947, in Johnstown, a son of 
  the late Jesse and Betty Kells Carmichael. He had been employed by Lowe's. He 
  was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Richard attended Indiana University of 
  PA, where he was a member of Sigma Chi Delta. He is survived by daughter, 
  Jessica Carmichael, Lebanon; son, Jason, husband of Amanda Carmichael, 
  Harrisburg; sisters, Nora Kush, Johnstown and Betty Borton, Ohio. He was 
  preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Gates. Funeral services will be private 
  and held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements entrusted to James A. 
  Porterfield, Ruffner-Porterfield Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, Ltd., 
  Lebanon.
