  Ruth Strickler Cohen 
  
  CORNWALL Ruth Strickler Cohen, 97, of Cornwall Manor, formerly of S. 11th St., 
  Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at the Manor. She was the wife 
  of the late Alec H. Cohen. She was born in Lebanon, on January 30, 1915, a 
  daughter of the late Henry D. and Ida M. Sealer Strickler. She was a retired 
  office manager for Bell of PA Telephone Co., Harrisburg. She was a member of 
  Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lebanon, Lutheran Church Women, Hadassah of 
  Congregation Beth Israel, Telephone Pioneers, and was a member and former 
  treasurer of the Good Samaritan Aux. Ruth is survived by a sister, Margaret S. 
  Bowie of Temple Hills, Md., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded 
  in death by a sister, Mary S. Gosch, and brother, George H. Strickler. Family 
  and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ruth's funeral services Monday, 
  March 19, 2012, at 11 a.m. from Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 28 N. 9th 
  St., Lebanon, with the Rev. Andrew Evenson officiating. Friends will be 
  received Monday beginning at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial will be made in Mt. 
  Lebanon Cemetery.   Arrangements entrusted to James A. Porterfield, Ruffner-
  Porterfield Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, Lebanon.
