  PALMYRA Marita Anna (Steinfartz) Countryman, 69, passed away in her home on 
  Wednesday, August 8, 2012. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Gene 
  Arthur Countryman, and her longtime companion, Achim Gonschorek. She was born 
  Thursday, January 7, 1943, in Duesseldorf, Germany, to the late Heinz and 
  Mathilde (Ritterbach) Steinfartz. She is survived by three children, Mark D. 
  Countryman and wife, Yvonne of Palmyra, Jessica J. Countryman of Palmyra, and 
  Gene D. Countryman and wife, Nicole of Germany; four grandchildren, Marvin A., 
  Dorian G., Alec M., and Dina M. Countryman; and a brother, Heino Steinfartz and 
  wife, Anneli of Germany. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 15, at 
  3 p.m. at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., 
  Palmyra 17078 with the Rev. Michael W. Rothan as celebrant. Family and friends 
  are invited for visitation from 2 p.m. until time of the services. Burial will 
  follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
