M. shabodeho@aol.com August 2, 2012, 8:28 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on July 8, 2012 LEBANON Gladys A. Daub, 85, died Friday, July 6, 2012, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Ray M. Daub. They celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary in December, 2011. Born in Lebanon, on July 26, 1926, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Kathryn P. (Yeagley) Bender. Gladys worked for many years in the finishing department at the local knitting mills. She attended the Gospel Center where she was the pianist. Gladys played the accordion for the Lebanon Valley Gospel Band for many years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Samuel L. Daub and his wife, Shirley of Jonestown; a daughter, Barbara A. Good of Lebanon; a brother, Henry E. Bender and his wife, Bertha of Afton, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, John A. Bender. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Gospel Center, 27 N. 10th St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Viewing will take place one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be held in Bunker Hill Evangelical Congregational Church Cemetery Swatara Twp. Contributions can be made to the Gospel Center. Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
