Davis LEBANON James Kenneth Davis, 92, died Thursday, February 16, 2012, at Cornwall Manor after a brief illness. He was retired as a School Administrator with the Northern Lebanon School District, where he served over 30 years as a teacher and assistant high school principal. They were wed on September 11, 1948. Jim served in World War II in the 2nd Armored Division from February 1941 to October 1945. He returned to the states and graduated from Lebanon Valley College in 1950. A lifelong member of Covenant United Methodist Church, he served as Sunday School teacher and superintendent, usher, and member and chairman of the Staff Parish Relations Committee and Administrative Board. He was a founder of the VISTAS education program, which served many Lebanon County residents for over ten years. Although Jim had many interests in life, playing golf was one of his joys. He was predeceased by his brother, Aaron, who was also from Lebanon. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. The Rohland Funeral Home Inc., Lebanon, is handling the arrangements.
