M. shabodeho@aol.com May 27, 2012, 11:08 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on May 17, 2012 Dorothy M. Dengler LEBANON Dorothy M. Dengler, 96, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 15, 2012. She was the wife of John E. Dengler. She was born in Lebanon, on December 17, 1915, a daughter of the late William and Elsie M. Frymeyer Houser. She was a member of Bible Fellowship Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and was a member of the ladies' missionary society. She also sang in church and sang for the Mennonite Brethren in Christ Radio Ministry. She was a great prayer warrior. She organized the many Houser reunions and loved entertaining at the family cabin in Lickdale. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara A. Dengler of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, William Houser, Jr. and Russell Houser; and sisters, Betty Jane Matters, Hilda Kimmel, Violet Arnold Sedlack, Christine Whitman, and Helen Pyles. Funeral services will be Monday 8 p.m. in the Bible Fellowship Church, 1635 Mill Road, Lebanon, PA 17042 where a viewing will held beginning at 6 p.m. A private interment will be made in the Covenant Greenwood Cemetery.
