Ditzler, 61, took his final journey joining his mother, Lavina Ditzler and brother, James Ditzler. He left behind a devoted wife, Cindy Bretz Ditzler; two loving children whom he adored, Shane M. Bretz and Amanda Jo Bradshaw; a sister, Candice Hilton; sister-in-law, Peggy Winters; and his beloved lab, Emma. He was currently employed at the VA Medical Center. He proudly served our country in the United States Army as an Army Ranger in the Vietnam War. He could be found fixing up old clocks, working on his El Camino, and sitting in a rocking chair listening to music. He loved the outdoors and building things with his hands. He would drop everything to help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and everyone's lives who he has touched. "Standing waiting on my number, and my number's gonna show" Van Morrison. In lieu of flowers, please send a note or card, to Amanda Jo Bradshaw, Palmyra, PA., and share a memory or story of Michael to help his family get through this difficult time. All monetary gifts will be given to the Vietnam Veterans of America Association or the Gift of Life Foundation.
